One of the most valuable aspects of the NELA HBA and the LHBA is their advocacy and active involvement in shaping building codes and policies related to the home building industry. Additionally, the opportunity to network and attend social events with like-minded individuals provides a great platform to discuss how the market is shifting and evolving over time.
Simply being a member of my association is one thing. But once I started my climb on the latter of my local, I started to pick up on the true value of what our federation truly stood for. It was the fight for our industry, the bureaucracy of government overreach. I truly resonated with my beliefs, and I started to understand how our organization had effective meaning and effective results
